The Bible says that God watches the proud from afar. The Bible says that God hates haughty eyes. Pride will keep us from many things God has for us. Pride will make us proud of going through the motions rather than truly worshiping.

However, should we think of Bathsheba in the same way? She was the mother of five sons. One of those sons was Solomon. She is an ancestor of Jesus. Moms could learn a lot from her example.

The Lack of Fellowship

Worship is an opportunity to have fellowship with God. However, many people come to worship without preparing to meet God and worship Him. Therefore, they want the people leading worship to do something exciting. They seek emotional support, comedy, entertainment and friends without seeking God Himself. This message is just one way to prepare to worship God.

Faith Is Counted as Righteousness

Can you call Jesus your Lord while holding onto a known sin? Can you have all that God has planned for you while knowingly unfaithful to Him? This message speaks to these issues.
