Our purpose is to give God glory. Sin has damaged our glorified condition. God so loved us that He gave His Son to restore that pre-fallen glory. His salvation is more than a trip to heaven. It is His Kingdom come upon this earth. (Read Romans 8:29-30)

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
The angels are beings created by God just like we are. They have free will just like we do. What is the key to their worship that may or may not be the same as ours?
The question is: Do you really want to worship like the angels or not?
